Meeting the Needs of Colombia's Indigenous Children

Many of Colombia’s indigenous children and pregnant women require urgent assistance. Heavy flooding has created a humanitarian crisis for a vulnerable population already affected by years of armed conflict. UNICEF is there to make sure these children and women get safe water, protective services, and nutritional care.

UNICEF's Next Generation has adopted a fundraising goal of $100,000 to:

  • Strengthen the capacity of local communities to respond to emergencies.
  • Support the coordinated response in nutrition and child protection.
  • Raise awareness on behalf of the indigenous children affected by the crisis.
  • Protect women and children against violence, exploitation, abuse, military recruitment, and the risk of land mine accidents.

Use this form to make a secure, tax-deductible donation to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, supporting UNICEF's Colombia Project: $50, $500, $1,000, $5,000, or any amount you can give will help save and protect the lives of countless children.
