Be K.I.N.D. To a Student in Malawi: Donate a Desk or Scholarship
Every day, 70% of Malawi children struggle to learn while sitting on the ground. Giving them a simple desk empowers their educational journey and creates excitement for learning, fueling their dreams for the future.
Join UNICEF USA and MSNBC's "The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell" in an ambitious campaign called K.I.N.D.: Kids in Need of Desks to provide desks to eager young learners across the country. To date, the program has delivered desks to support more than 500,000 students, but in order to reach every child, we need ongoing support.
Additionally, just 1 in 3 girls in Malawi continue on to secondary school. K.I.N.D. scholarships enable girls to continue their education and reach their full potential. More than 3,000 girls have been supported to date. To provide scholarships to girls in Malawi, click here.
